Navajo Tacos

Step #1:
1 1/2 Cups Milk
1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Teaspoons Salt
1/2 Cups Butter

2 Tablespoons Yeast
1/2 Cups Warm Water
2 Eggs
6 to 7 Cups Flour

Scald together Step #1 and add half flour to cooled Step #1 mixture. Mix yeast with water, add eggs and mix. Add remaining flour. Knead until smooth. Let rise to double bulk (approx 2 hours). When ready pinch of a bit of dough and roll flat. Deep fry until golden brown in hot oil. Garnish with anything of your choice. Example: Chili, Beans, Lettuce, Cheese, Sour Cream, Tomatoes, Hot Sauce....

I love this recipe. It is so yummy and the bread is like a delicious sweet bread. You can even make this dough and fry it into scones and put honey butter and cinnamon on it. Mmmmm....

Navajo Tacos are so good. Twice a year my mom's friend makes these for us and we have these big Navajo taco partys. And The picky kids who don't like beans or chili wil just put honey over the fry bread instead and thats really good too but I prefer to have them w/ chili, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, salsa, and olives. (im not a tomato or bean lover)
